Gross Glockner - With a Series 2

Extreme
tuning is not the aim of the game, reliability is first and foremost what we are
all after with our prize Lambretta's. We have achieved are aim, with time
and money well spent we have found the following setup runs extremely well on
this superb series 2 lambretta.
Firstly
we took an Indian (cast) 200cc barrel, this was ported out to stage 4/5, then
was fitted with an ASSO Werk piston & snug fitting thin piston rings.
Fitted to this was a 30mm carburetor, 12v electronic ignition, Arthur Francis
clubman exhaust and a 17 toothed front sprocket.
This
setup was tried and tested on our trip around Gross Glockner (a distance of 2000
kms), superb, first kick up she started and away we went, only stopping for fuel
on our way. This setup is a must if you are wanting a distance tourer, if
